AWS、Claude Fable 5.1をAmazon BedrockとClaude Platform on AWSで提供

AWSはClaude Fable 5.1をAmazon BedrockとClaude Platform on AWSで利用可能にしたと発表しました。coding、scientific research、enterprise workflows向けのfrontier modelで、Covered Modelとしてdata retentionとreview policyが伴います。

Claude Fable 5.1がBedrockとAWS上のClaude Platformに入る

AWSは2026年9月1日、Claude Fable 5.1をAmazon BedrockとClaude Platform on AWSで利用可能にしたと発表しました。対象はcoding、scientific research、enterprise workflowsなど、長い推論や複数stepの作業を必要とする用途です。AWSはFable 5.1を、Anthropicが実施する難しいreasoning testsでFable 5を上回るモデルとして紹介しています。日常利用では、曖昧なタスクでの判断、誤った確信の減少、長時間作業での更新説明などが改善点として挙げられています。

Covered Modelとしてdata retentionとreviewが伴う

Claude Fable 5.1はAnthropicのCovered Modelに指定されています。そのためAmazon Bedrockで使う場合、最大30日間のdata retentionとAmazon personnelによるhuman safety reviewの対象になります。AWSは、Bedrock accountまたはprojectでdata retention modeを設定し、Fable 5.1の利用にはaws_review modeが必要だと説明しています。このmodeではpromptとoutputがAWS boundary内で安全reviewのために保持され、model providerへの共有は必要ないとされています。

EFS対象顧客はZDRで高能力modelを使える

AWSの発表はAnthropicのEnterprise Frontier Safeguardsにも触れています。EFS対象の顧客は、Amazon BedrockとClaude Platform on AWSでClaude Fable 5とFable 5.1をzero data retentionで利用できます。この措置は2026年12月31日までのinternal useに提供されます。さらに年内には、promptとoutputを顧客のAWS account内に置き、独自のencryption keys、access policies、audit loggingで管理できる追加のEFS機能が予定されています。安全監視は自動reviewで行われ、人間のreviewは不要になります。

region、inference profile、説明責任を確認する

Fable 5.1はAmazon BedrockのUS Geo CRISとGlobal CRIS inference profilesで提供され、AWS GovCloud (US)ではbedrock-runtimeとbedrock-mantle endpointsで利用できます。programmatic accessはAnthropic Messages API、Invoke API、Converse API、AWS CLI、AWS SDKから使えます。企業が採用する際は、modelId、利用region、pricingだけでなく、data retention mode、ZDR適用可否、review policy、利用者への説明を同時に確認する必要があります。高能力modelほど、性能検証とsecurity reviewを同じ導入ゲートに置くべきです。
